EVE Energy and CEGASA Announce 1 GWh Strategic Partnership to Advance Energy Storage Across Europe

EVE Energy and Spain-based renewable energy company CEGASA ENERGIA S.L.U. (“CEGASA”) have officially signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate deeply across the energy storage sector. From 2026 to 2028, the two companies will jointly develop and deploy energy storage projects totaling 1 GWh in capacity.

The cooperation encompasses a portfolio of Commercial & Industrial ESS and Utility ESS projects. EVE Energy will supply CEGASA with advanced, safe, and reliable battery products and solutions, supported by technical assistance to improve operational efficiency and enable localized service delivery to end customers.

Amid Europe’s accelerating energy transition and rising demand for storage solutions, this partnership brings together EVE’s leading battery technology and CEGASA’s deep local expertise built over nearly a century in the Spanish market. Together, they will adopt a “global technology + local insight” cooperation model. Moving forward, both parties will actively promote EVE’s CLS global collaboration framework and advance localized manufacturing efforts, exploring further opportunities across European energy storage markets to deliver more competitive clean energy solutions.
